The National Association of Traffic Accident Reconstructionists and Investigators (NATARI)was established as a non profit Pennsylvania corporation in 1984. The goal of NATARI is to provide a source of information to be shared among accident professionals on a national basis.
All 160 formulae and their various uses are set out in a uniform, easy to read, and understandable format. Whether in law, law enforcement, or private or insurance investigation, this book provides traffic accident investigators and reconstructionists with the data they need to perform their job accurately and efficiently.
ACTAR is committed to promoting the intellectual development of individuals, organizations and institutions involved in traffic accident investigation and reconstruction. In so doing, ACTAR encourages the integrity, consistency and professionalism of those involved in traffic accident investigation and reconstruction.
After a crash, you may feel you were not at fault. Taking pictures and speaking to witnesses may help your case, but ... car accidents
Traffic accident reconstructionists are uniquely trained to take the investigation further into causation factors. Investigators consider many factors prior to and after the collision as well as being trained to meticulously explain the details of a collision itself. More events occur in 1 10th of a second than most can imagine.
Traffic crash reconstruction is a special field of criminal investigations and forensic engineering. Reconstructionists are trained to identify factors involved in crashes such as speed and mechanical defects. They use mathematics and their knowledge of physics to determine what caused a crash and to assign fault or blame.
Traffic collision reconstruction is the process of investigating, analyzing, and drawing conclusions about the causes and events during a vehicle collision. Reconstructionists conduct collision analysis and reconstruction to identify the cause of a collision and contributing factors including the role of the driver, vehicle, roadway and general environment. Physics and engineering principles are the basis for these analyses and may involved the use of software for calculations and simulations. C
